Magic Valley Masonic Trestleboard

News from around the valley about the Masonic family

March 2026

Brethren, we did it! We have our lodge building back! I am so excited. I have not been to the building as of this writing but will attend the March 1, 2026, work party. Please join us at 9:00 am. Wear work clothes, bring gloves and cleaning supplies if possible. Many hands make for lighter work and greater brotherhood and bonding.

On another note... our newly appointed Membership Committee has made huge
strides and are actively informing men of what opportunities Freemasonry in the
Magic Valley offers. Be prepared for lots of degree work this year. Tip of the hat to those four brothers! If you are interested in doing degree ritual and/or coaching and mentoring, please contact Greg Voetsch.

Are you on a committee? Has that committee met and acted on their assigned duties? Our membership committee is a stellar example of how a few brothers focusing their energies and talents can achieve huge results. Let’s get all committees cranking at that level!

We still need LOTS of help with items for the Silent Auction for the St. Patrick’s Day Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner fundraiser, the evening of March 13, 2026. Please see if you can get businesses to donate and invite friends, neighbors and prospects to join us for family dinner and fun! This is a public event and a chance to showcase our new facility and tell our story.

There will be an El Korah Shrine Ceremonial Initiation held at our lodge building April 25, 2026. If you’re interested in being a Shriner, now is an awesome time to join! See me, Rick Rowe or Jeremy Barnett for info. Also, the evening Arches and public “Fezzing” ceremony and banquet are open to all, not just Shriners, but you need to RSVP for the banquet.

Please visit our website at www.twinfallsmasons.org to stay up to date on events, and calendars. Please, I encourage you to get involved. The rewards of masonry go up exponentially in relationship to your involvement and activity in the organization!

Our Junior Warden, Jake Loveland will oversee coordinating fellowship dinners
prior to meetings and degrees. Please help as much as possible and take a turn.
We may even try having the ladies organize a dinner or two?

It is up to each and every individual brother and the lodge, as a whole, to build the culture, fun and growth that will sustain our lodge into the future! The building committee has provided us with a fantastic venue; the membership committee is providing prospects for growth; what can you do to help us achieve the vision? Don’t be a spectator! Get involved, have fun and let masonry bring you the rich rewards that come from the experience!

Danny Harkins

Worshipful Master
