About Us

Freemasonry is the oldest and largest of the world’s fraternities; it’s been in Idaho for over 150 years, since before statehood. Lewis and Clark were the first Masons through Idaho.

Twin Falls Lodge #45 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons was chartered September 12, 1906, with soon-to-be Sheriff George Aikens as lodge master and dentist Guy Baker as senior warden. Other members listed on the charter read like a who’s who of Twin Falls pioneers: Idaho Sen. M.J. Sweeley, Police Chief Charles Dyer, road overseer John Peters, civil engineer Charles Mull, nurseryman James Waters and insurance agent Samuel T. Hamilton.
